Goal: Equip students with skills and techniques for SATs, with a strong focus on foundational maths and English.

Maths Learning Outcomes
SATs Core Topics:
Revision of arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, and word problems.
Data Handling:
Introduction to interpreting graphs, charts, and basic statistics.
Geometry Basics:
Shapes, angles, area, perimeter, and properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
Practice Papers:
Working through past SATs papers to build familiarity with the exam format.
English Learning Outcomes
Reading and Analysis:
Engaging with various texts to develop comprehension, analysis, and inference skills.
SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar):
Intensive focus on spelling, punctuation, grammar rules, and common SATs errors.
Writing Practice:
Structured writing tasks that focus on organising ideas, descriptive language, and clarity.
Exam Technique:
Guidance on managing time and answering questions effectively.
